How is this different from the sales where you shop from table to table?
The Big Red Wagon Kids' and Maternity Consignment Sale is very different! To start with, admission to The Big Red Wagon sale is always FREE!! You do not have to spend your time going table to table searching through the items. The sales floor is organized with racks of hanging clothes organized by size and gender, a toy area, baby area, maternity area, children's furniture area, etc... much like you would see in a department store. When you are done shopping, you will purchase all your items at a one-stop check out. In addition to cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Debit/Check Cards.
How often so you have sales?
There are minimum of 2 sales per year at each sale location with at least one in the spring and one in the fall.
Can I bring a guest to the preview sale?
As a registered preview sale shopper, you will receive two passes. One for you and one for a guest. Children do not need a pass for the preview sale. We will not give out more than 2 wristbands.
Can I bring my kids to the sale?
You are welcome to bring your children; however, we do ask that they stay with you at all times and they do not play with the toys or in the clothing racks. Since this is a consignment sale, the items do not belong to us. Thank you in advance for your help and understanding.
Do I have to register to shop the sale?
No registration is needed unless you are wanting to shop the Preview Sale. For more information regarding the Preview Sale see the Shop Early section here: Shop Early
Can I bring my kids while I work my volunteer shift?
For safety reasons, children are not allowed during Volunteer shifts.
Can I bring my wagon or stroller to the sale?
Yes. As you enter, there will be someone at the door tagging your wagon or stroller so it will not be confused with the ones for sale. However, please bring a laundry basket to place your items in while shopping. We want to make every effort to keep all merchandise clean since the items being sold do not belong to us.
Can I return items?
Due to the nature of the sale, there will be no returns.
Can I try on items?
No, there will not be a place to try on items.
Do you have to be a seller to attend the preview sale?
No. If you would like to get a pass to the Volunteer Preview Sale, all you have to do is sign up to Volunteer for one 3 hour shift prior to the Preview Sale. Volunteer registration for non-sellers will open 2 weeks before the sale date. Spaces will be limited. You can also register for the Facebook Friends Preview Sale or the New & Expecting Mom Preview Sale.
Does my child need a wristband to attend the preview sale?
No, children so not need a wristband to attend the preview sale.
How can I become a volunteer?
There are 2 ways to register to be a volunteer. If you are a Seller, register through your Seller account. If you are not a Seller but just want to volunteer, you can register through the Volunteer Registration button. You can find this on the sale specific pages. Please note: If you are not a seller your volunteer shift must take place prior to the Preview Sale if you plan to attend. Volunteer registration for non-sellers will open about 2 weeks before the sale date. Spaces will be limited.
How can I shop early?
Sellers and Volunteers can shop the Preview Sale that takes place the evening before the sale opens to the public. Providing space is available, we will open volunteer shifts for non-selling volunteers two weeks prior to the Preview Sale.
There is also a Preview Sale for Facebook and New & Expecting Moms. Spaces are limited and you must register to attend. Registration will close once it is full.
How do I carry my items while I am shopping?
We suggest you bring a laundry basket to carry the items you would like to purchase. We do not allow personal shopping bags to be used at the sale. If you bring one, it will need to be checked at the door and picked up after you check out. We will have "The Big Red Wagon" shopping bags available at the sale for your use while shopping.
How will the items be organized?
