Recall & Safety Info

We cannot accept any items that have been recalled.  It is important to check the CPSC website to insure the items you are brining to the sale have not been recalled. In many cases, there are free repair kits that are available through the manufacture. 

Here are a few highlights.  Again, please refer to the CPSC website.

Cribs

Due to the recommendation of the CPSC, we will not accept drop side cribs at the sale.

Highchairs, Pack N' Plays, and other large items

Again, check the CPSC website before loading your car with these large items.  If they have been recalled, you will have to load them back up in your car! 

Bumbo Chairs

This is one item frequently brought to the sale that has been recalled.  Check to see if there is a warning sticker on the front of the seat in addition to the sticker on the back.  If not, you will want to contact the manufacture to get one prior to bringing it to the sale!

Clothing with hoods that have draw strings

Assume it has been recalled.  You will want to remove the draw string.

Sleep Positioners

We will no longer accept this item at the sale.

Recall Notifications

If you are interested in receiving notifications of recalled items, you can sign up to receive these on the CPSC website. 

Just because something is not on the recalled today, does not mean it will not be on the list tomorrow or before the next sale!  Please take the time to look to help insure the safety of all of our children!
