
How is this different from the sales where you rent a table and sell your items?
The Big Red Wagon Kid’s and Maternity Consignment Sale is very different! You register as a Seller, prepare your stuff, price it, tag it, drop it off, and wait for your check. THAT’S ALL THERE IS TO IT!!! You do not have to spend your time sitting at a table selling your items. There will be 1000’s of square feet of organized space with racks of hanging clothes, a toy area, baby area, maternity area, children’s furniture area, etc…much like you would see in a department store.

How often do you have sales?
There are 2 sales per year at each sale location…one in the spring and one in the fall.

Can I bring a guest to the preview sale?
As a Seller or Volunteer, you will receive two passes. You can bring anyone you would like to the sale.

Can I bring my kids to the sale?
With 6 kids between us, we understand that childcare can be difficult to find. You are welcome to bring your children; however, we do ask that they stay with you at all times and they do not play with the toys or in the clothing racks. Since this is a consignment sale, the items do not belong to us. Thank you in advance for you help and understanding.

Can I bring my kids while I work my volunteer shift?
For safety reasons, children are not allowed during Volunteer shifts.

Can I bring my wagon or stroller to the sale?
Yes. As you enter, there will be someone at the door tagging your wagon or stroller so it will not be confused with the ones for sale. However, please bring a laundry basket to place your items in while shopping. We want to make every effort to keep all merchandise clean since the items being sold do not belong to us.

Can I return items?
Due to the nature of the sale, there will be no returns.

Can I try on items?
No, there will not be a place to try on items.

Can my husband work instead of me?
Absolutely!

Do you have to be a seller to attend the preview sale?
No. If you would like to get a pass to the Preview Sale, all you have to do is sign up to Volunteer for one 3 hour shift prior to the Preview Sale. Volunteer registration for non-sellers will open 2 weeks before the sale date. Spaces will be limited.

Does my child need a wristband to attend the preview sale?
No, children do not need a wristband to attend the preview sale.

How can I become a volunteer?
There are 2 ways to register to be a volunteer. If you are a Seller, register through your Seller’s account. If you are not a Seller but just want to volunteer, you can register through the “Volunteer Registration” button. You can find this on the sale specific pages. Please note: If you are not a seller, your volunteer shift must take place prior to the Preview Sale if you plan to attend. Volunteer registration for non-sellers will open 2 weeks before the sale date. Spaces will be limited.

How can I shop early?
Sellers and Volunteers can shop at the Preview Sale that takes place the evening before the sale opens to the general public. Providing space is available, we will open volunteer shifts for non-selling volunteers two weeks prior to the Preview Sale.
There is also a Preview sale for New & Expecting Moms. Spaces are limited and you must register to attend.

How do I carry my items while I am shopping?
We suggest you bring a laundry basket to carry the items you would like to purchase. All bags will need to be checked at the door. There will also be shopping bags available.

How will the items be organized?
There will be 1000’s of square feet of organized space with racks of hanging clothes organized by gender and size , a toy area, baby area, maternity area, children’s furniture area, etc…much like you would see in a department store.

Is there an admission fee?
There is no admission fee.

What payment methods are accepted?
We will accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Debit/Check Cards. We DO NOT accept checks.
